Corona Hangover!

This is probably the first article that you've ever received from a "marketing professional" who refuses to tell you that he has all the answers. I would love to tell you that I know when this corona virus thing will be all over and now is the perfect time to market yourself and your company, but I can't, and I won't.

The truth is I don't know. I don't know when business will get back to normal or when we're going to be able to resume conventions, conferences, and other networking events. I also can't tell you the perfect "promotional product" for social distancing. Perhaps branding "To Go" containers or bags might be a good idea. You can stock up on pens so you can make sure that people aren't spreading germs and everyone gets a fresh pen. Maybe at this time, we would all feel better with a cookie?

Here's what I can tell you. Doing "nothing" won't work. You have to make some effort to keep your name in front of your customers. If for no other reason then to say, "I'm open for business". I guess that's the point of this email. I want my clients to know that I'm here if you need me. Even if it's just to brainstorm ideas for when the whole country sobers up and we're ready to play ball again (sorry we're missing Opening Day).

For all my clients, friends, and family, I want to wish you good health during this difficult time. I hope you find peace and clarity. I completely understand the stress and uncertainty and I hope that we can find some good out of all of this. The opportunity to enjoy our kids and family. Please remember to take time each day to share a smile. We're all in this together.
